Description
Gold Bars are smelted from Gold Ore with Coal Ore as fuel. At 150 XP per bar they are by far the best Smelting experience in the game, and the main reason players push Mining to level 10 and head into the Qabar Mines.
Blacksmiths value it for the skill gain more than the metal — gold is too soft for tool heads.

Uses
Gold Bar is used in:
- Levelling Smelting — 150 XP per bar, the highest of any smelt
- Future jewellery and decoration recipes
Note: Gold Bars have no tool recipe in the current build.
Trivia
- A Gold Bar takes 8.0s to smelt, twice as long as an Iron Bar, but pays nearly four times the XP.
