## Description

Steel Bars are made by returning an [Iron Bar](/Items/Ingots/IronBar) to the furnace with extra [Coal Ore](/Items/Ores/CoalOre). It is a two stage metal — you cannot smelt it straight from ore.

Blacksmiths value it because steel tools are the best non-arcane gear in Azmarin. It sells for 1 Gold, so there is no reason to trade it; it exists to be crafted.
