Pre-collapse elemental objects recovered from the world. Artifacts are not crafted — they are found, and they feed the Arcane Forge in the [Astral Hollow](/About/World).

## Notes

- The [Ground Artifact](/Items/Artifacts/GroundArtifact) gives **less** XP than the [Water Artifact](/Items/Artifacts/WaterArtifact) despite being a higher tier. That is what the game data says; it may be a balance pass that has not landed yet.
- Artifacts are the gate on the whole Arcane tree. No artifacts means no [Arcane Ingots](/Items/Ingots/ArcaneIngot), which means no Arcane [Tools](/Items/Tools).
