## Description

Arcane Ingots are not smelted at the blacksmiths. They are forged at the Arcane Forge in the [Astral Hollow](/About/World) using metal and [Artifacts](/Items/Artifacts).

Because the recipe runs on the Arcane skill rather than Smelting, an Arcane Ingot is reachable at Arcane level 1 — the gate is finding the forge and the artifacts, not the level.
